Behind Tampa Bay Tech Week is a collaborative team committed to shaping a week that reflects the energy, ambition, and diversity of the region’s tech ecosystem. From early planning and partner coordination to programming, design, and on-the-ground execution, our team works across disciplines to ensure every event feels intentional and impactful.
JESUS VIDAURRI Organizer
Florida native, longtime Tampa resident of over 15 years, and proud USF alum. He is a talent strategist, community builder, and founder of Vida Talent Solutions, with experience across startups, Fortune 100 companies, and public-sector digital service. He is the driving force behind Tampa Bay Tech Week, uniting the region’s tech ecosystem across founders, talent, and community, and is passionate about building systems, spaces, and experiences that help Tampa Bay reach its full potential.
DAVID BERMUDEZ Creative Director
CEO and founder of Purple Cave Media. He is an award-winning visual storyteller with over 20 years of experience leading high-impact digital and print campaigns for global brands. Brings deep expertise in art direction, creative strategy, and multi-platform design execution. Known for building and mentoring high-performing creative teams, partnering closely with executives and agencies, and delivering results in fast-paced environments. Recognized for driving innovation, elevating brand presence, and aligning design excellence with measurable business goals.
MARTIKA JONES Co-Organizer
Founder and CEO of BŪP Technologies, an infrastructure company building an intent-to-action API for relationship intelligence. BŪP is a member of Google for Startups Cloud Program and NVIDIA Inception. She also co-founded Loom Design, serves as Community Director for Techstars Tampa, and is Executive Director of BŪP INNO, a nonprofit supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs. Her work has been recognized by Tampa Bay Business Journal, Tampa Bay Tech, The AI Journal, and Marquis Who’s Who. She holds an M.S. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Tampa.
MICHAEL HALL Co-Organizer
Senior Managing Partner of MediumFour in Fort Lauderdale, Tallahassee, and Tampa, leading brand strategy, design, and storytelling to create work that captures attention and drives action. With over two decades of experience in leadership, marketing, creative direction, and digital production, he guides organizations from concept to rollout. He co-founded Digital Grass Innovation and Technology to support inclusive innovation in South Florida and serves as a Venture Partner at South Box, contributing to deal sourcing, diligence, and investor-brand growth.
MIRANDA JOHNSON Co-Organizer
CEO of MiRAjO Collective, COO of Tampa Business Club, Techstars Tampa Mentor, and Events Chair of the Tampa Bay Latin Chamber of Commerce. She is the author of Lead Loud: 11 Commandments of the Next-Gen Leader and The Pain Principle: Embracing Self-Inflicted Pain to Break Free, and creator of MiRAjO’s Leadership Reset, 25 Days and 25 Nights. Originally from Charleston, SC, Miranda draws on 25+ years in logistics, real estate, construction, and business development to build authentic, intentional ecosystems that unite the right people to execute vision with impact.
EMILY ADAMS Co-Organizer
Founder of Leading With Human Design, a leadership platform serving leaders and businesses through coaching, workshops, and tech solutions. Former top 3% leader at Honda who left an Amish community at 17, she helps executives make authentic decisions using Human Design instead of generic frameworks. A Purdue graduate and author of From Choice to Change, she speaks on self-aware leadership in the age of AI and brings over a decade of experience in manufacturing and software to drive focused, high-impact transformation.
STEVE WILEY Socials + Marketing
From entertainment stages to financial systems, I’ve spent my career at the intersection of MarTech and operations. Now, I’m applying that expertise to scale the Tampa Bay ecosystem, specializing in storytelling, radical connectivity, and system optimization. With experience leading CRM and lifecycle operations at Upside, NBA, MJH Life Sciences, and Tripadvisor, I help organizations align strategy, technology, and people to drive engagement, growth, and impact.
NINA JOHANSSON Co-Organizer
Born in the Chicago suburbs and having spent over a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area, she now calls Tampa home. With a background in luxury retail and hospitality, she brings a refined approach to elevated experiences, thoughtful details, and meaningful connections. Passionate about community and conversation, she creates spaces where ideas thrive. An avid traveler who has explored 32 countries, she is launching LuxStyle Events, specializing in curated travel experiences, luxury gatherings, corporate events, and social celebrations.
